I feel it strengthen in my 'family' when we are all together in a group hug. In the kitchen, I hear someone say, "I love our family" and as I am walking ( Read more... )

Thank you, Kristin. We missed you this weekend. Here is our number: 916-714-6533
I've been taking classes and cleaning out the old apartment. We have until the 17th to get everything out and clean up. We will get there.
Sometimes I am so full of joy that I could burst *POP*! It's scary and wonderful to be so happy. Suddenly I have something to loose. It just makes me more careful and more respectful of what I have in my life though. I've already been down the other road - you know, the one where you are empty, lonely, and have nothing to loose. It's a sad path. "Freedom's just another word for nothing left to loose..." Janice Joplin
I hope to talk to you soon. Miss you! *MUAH*

Thank you, Alex. Funny. It all started with three people putting their money into the same account. It just doubled when we got the house and now two more people are here. That makes eight adults and Devin - who was 5 on Monday, Happy Birthday to him! I've always wanted an environment where you could drop your guard and be yourself. Pat helped me by showing me it was possible. Thank you, Pat - you little hobbit. The rest is fate. I know we are going to grow. I can feel it in my bones. Maybe we can start other groups with the same structure. We are very happy. Thank you. You can come by and visit if you like. We are mostly settled-in. Call me if you are interested: 916-714-6533

That would be great. I'll try and swing a visit next time I'm in Sac. I'd love to talk to you about how it all came together sometime too. I'm toying with the idea of doing something along those lines myself, although I'm not sure how serious about it I am yet. At this point, I think I'd rather find one than make my own, because I have some other stuff in life I'm working on, but on the other hand, it would be closer to what I want if I make it. :)

Think of it as a community relief program. It's like the Musketeers - All for one and One for all. It benefits the group if you are successful. I would love to help. I have so many ideas I would love to share. Let me know when you are in town next. I am looking forward to it.
