I was really happy with the card that I found for Fanny's shower. It's very me and I wanted to share.

I just finished buying Fanny's baby shower present. I am really happy with what I picked out.

1. A gift card to Target, where they are registered. I thought it would be better, so they can get whatever else they end up needing.
2. A sundress with a matching cardigan and bucket hat from baby gap. Ridiculously adorable!

I just went to evite to create an invitation for our August Book Club meeting...when I got to the site, I noticed that there was an evite for Fanny's Baby Shower. The shower is this Saturday!!!!!!! I need to give a little back story to this one....when I was eighteen, I left Bard college and spent the rest of the year at home, just working. David was my only friend that had stayed local. Today we visited Cypress Gardens, which is right next door to Marc's grandparent's house.  Cypress Gardens is an old Florida attraction that closed down for awhile and was renovated. I never saw it before, but as far as I can tell, they tore down some of the gardens and added some really tacky carnival type rides to revitalize the place ( Read more... )

 This morning I brought Spotless to the vet and my appointment was delayed an hour. A couple came in with their cat, who was dragging it's hind legs and unable to control it's bladder. The home remodeling has been moving along a little better. The kitchen cabinets were installed this week. The kitchen looks amazing. I cannot believe this is the same place I grew up in.
