Mom Update

I spent a majority of today at the Verdugo Hills Hospital as my mom had her tumor biopsied. Mom's back home and she is basically doing fine. She has a small cut on her throat, but was basically up and making demands as soon as the surgery was over. She swears that she is going in to volunteer at the police station tomorrow. The results were bad. We

My mom would never say the 'c' word. She had 'a problem' or 'a growth' but never cancer. Guess she had enough of cancer caring for my dad. Yes, I lost both of them (and both in-laws) due to cancer. You'd think with all this 'experience' I'd have something of value to say to you... I won't even dare to say I have an idea of what you are going through. All I can do is send a strong, firm, very loving hug your way.
