 Mom died this morning, close to seven. It was peaceful. She just started breathing really slowly and eventually stopped. My immediate reaction was relief. I am so happy to know that she is no longer sick and suffering. I am back home now.

Don't feel guilty about feeling relief. This has been a difficult journey for you all but your mother is now free from pain.

I weep with you and for you as I know how you will miss her in the days and weeks ahead. Please know that I will be here for you whenever you need a shoulder to lean against or to cry on.
