cervical cancer
For anyone who might possibly read this.
My friend's sister died today.
She was only 27. She had cervical cancer.
Her family had to decide to take her off the machines that were keeping her alive.
She didn't get tested (pap smear). It's a simple test, a bit uncomfortable, a bit embarrassing. Not as uncomfortable as cancer...

OMG I bought my tickets to the 12:01 showing! I can't believe this is it!
My 23 year old son is going with me. This has been such a journey for the 2 of us. Way back when I saw a little article in Newsweek--the book wasn't that big in the US yet. I mentioned it to my then 11 year old son. He said I don't like that kind of story mom...He got ( Read more... ) -

I'm addicted to Harry Potter fics! I like this addiction so I don't feel like I should do anything about it... Someday I may want a life again but i'm good for now. I can't decide if I like Harry/Severus or Harry/Draco best.

I survived my birthday yesterday! I'm officially 50! Had a great day and told everyone my age! I also had an interview at work and found out today I got the job! Yay me! Things are looking up! -
