So last weekend I participated in the Richmond 8K run with friends Mandy and Annie from my elementary school years. Were were all there to support Kari who ran her first marathon. So last monday I did a class at the gym...Triple Threat. The next day I woke up and couldn't move. Every muscle in my body ached. But the bummer thing was that also my eye was swollen and red. Tonight we went down to Christmas in Wilmore. It's a quaint, small-town, event where all the shops on Main Street open up with refreshments. They park a fire truck on each end of the street, lights flashing, to block off traffic and the whole town comes out, bundled up, to talk, sing carols and sip cider and hot chocolate. I started my Bible Study last week down in Wilmore. The teacher is Beth Coppage for whom I have great admiration and respect. This past week with the girls has been fun. Marion took her first real steps last Monday, 3 days before her birthday. Thursday we celebrated with a few friends number 1 for the little one! I'm in Rhodes, Greece and it's my last night. They have three computers in a nook off of the lobby with internet time for purchase. This computer is broken and is free...yipee.
