I finally had my ceremony on the 20th of this month in the Derby Assembley rooms. It was fantastic to meet up with all my old friends and nice to show my parents around the facilities. The interview went fine. I was a little nervous, but the stress was manageable and it made me more alert than anything. It's interesting that I got even remotely excited, especially since I don't really want too much of a career with this company. The management and other workers are great. I've got an interview tomorrow for a product specialist position. I'm on pretty friendly terms with both the interviewers, but I still think it's a coin toss between me and another of the workers on the desk. I nearly hit a stag on the way back from work today. That was /very/ exciting, but luckily I was pretty alert, so nothing happened. This turnout wasn't at all helped by the driver I was overtaking when we came upon the wildlife, who I will name Mr. Magoo, doing next to nothing miles per hour and still wanted to try and swerve into me.

It's been a very poor day, a lot of which was unconsciously self induced, with a lovely cap. In short, I got a little carried away and lost all my winnings on an online poker game, thinking I was Maverick or something.
