Two weeks ago, one of my friends committed suicide.
I still can't quite wrap my head around it. I hadn't seen her since a wedding last October, but I was always hoping to run into her. lies are bad, addiction is worse
Okay, so clearly my claim of updating near daily is untrue. I did not get the job so theoretically I still have the time to post, but then a coworker hijacked my phone and downloaded a game called Wordfeud.
...it is slightly addicting. Just a little. I may or may not be playing it constantly. Apparently I'm not terrible at Scrabble-type games!

yay for superhero movies
My interview was on Tuesday morning, and I think it went well. I guess I'll just have to wait and see if I get offered the job. At first, I wasn't sure if I would take it even if it was offered, but then I went into work after the interview and had one of the worst days of my life! i am in a rut
Last night the tornado sirens went off around midnight. This was notable for a couple reasons: first, I was gratified to know that they will actually wake me up, and second, I learned I should never make decisions when I'm sleepy because I immediately took an Ambien and went back to sleep. year in review
Wow, what a year. It began with work upheaval and it's ending with more work upheaval! I began the year knowing that my manager, who I liked very much, was being transferred and someone else I liked was taking her place. The day she actually left, it turned out that the person who was supposed to replace her was quitting. He was gone the same day ( Read more... ) -
