So a lot has happened this last week. I started off Monday morning in Portland, OR. It was rainy and overcast and the mood in the city was peaceful. I felt extremely comfortable there and happy. They don't have IKEA in CO? I thought those things were everywhere.

There is a huge one in Renton (I believe the building used to be a Boeing parts store). It's right accross the street from a big NAPA supply warehouse, which is amusing, because both corps use the same shade of blue on their buildings.

Still never been to CA, or Disneyland. People tell me it's not much if you've been to Disneyworld before.

No they don't have a port in CO so they don't have an IKEA. I just like getting ideas from them, as the stuff they have isn't the best quality.
I went to Disneyworld with Jay when I was 19, and yeah they are right...Disneyland is just so so compared.
I'm not much of an amusement park person, but it was still worth it for space mountain.

Was in the LA/Hollywood area once, about ten years ago. Was strictly a work thing, before my current job. Absolutely hated the place. Then again, I suspect July is a bad time of year. The sky was a cloudless smoggy beige the whole time.

I'm not a bit CA fan, especially LA, but the beaches are nice if you can get around the people who pose around all the time.

However, I'm now in Seattle, having survived the teensy snow storm that delayed my flight by an hour, and am about to crash on Yvonne and Eric's spare bed.
