Tell me about it, Corcodel was terrified. He ended up refusing to go outside and waiting until this morning to go (for a total of 14 hours). Poor thing. :o/ Earlier in the day when the popping first started he managed to hurriedly pee and trot toward the door at the same time. What a sight. :o)

This was our first year ever that we weren't tormented by the noise of inconsiderate neighbors and their fireworks displays. We could see the fireworks display going on in Marion, which was far enough away that they couldn't be heard in the house. We sat on the front porch and watched them till they were done and then went back in the house. That was really nice.
