I...don't miss those days. But socially speaking, I'm weird like that. Even from high school my longest-lasting friend has been the one I took no classes with. Anyway, you should go where things are lively for you. *hugs* And yeah, I can see why knowing a parent reads your LJ would be off-putting.

I... don't miss those days either. And I will stay on LJ/DW until I have no friends left. But I'm on google plus as well!

Like I told Aaron, those other sites are nice for certain things, but for long form thoughts that require actual depth and breadth, LJ is still the best option. I just can't see myself writing five paragraph treatises on the trials and tribulations of raising teenagers on FB or G+.
