The Ireland and Europe cruise trip looms in my mental headlights. Winging it (more or less) in a foreign country for a week is pretty out of character for us, but I am hoping it comes off reasonably well.

Man, it's been a while since I've had anything worth writing about here. I am not sure I do even now, but I guess reporting on a good Father's Day sort of counts. I got out of having to go to not one, but two almost completely superfluous client meetings this week. This pleases me.

I am having problems with the Lotus again. I waited 25 years for this car, and it is breaking my heart. FML.

They're doing a poll on Facebook about whether or not the US should tax people with annual income over a quarter of a million dollars more. The "No's" are winning 2-to-1. And I guarantee you most of those people will never actually make that much in a year, but they kid themselves they might. The mind boggles.

I decided to rewatch The Fellowship of the Ring on Sunday, and it must have made an impression on my youngest, because I came home yesterday evening to find her watching The Two Towers. Although a lot of her comments seemed to skew towards "The action is really cool" and "Legolas is hot." >:-(

If my inbox's junk mail subfolder is any indication, I am both impotent *and* on the hunt for hot, young, gay men. I guess the one would explain the other.

The news of rain/snow showers on Sunday has sealed taking the train over taking my car down to DC. So I will have to be "that guy" who gets chaffeured to our meat meet.
