There is something that perhaps I should make clear. If you don't think that you will like what I have to say on a subject, either don't bring it up, or say so in advance, because otherwise I will give my opinion. I am not one who is generally happy to say what people want me to, so I would take it as a kindness if you did not expect me to.

There is something incredibly exciting about storms. I think the moments when I feel closest to nature are those in the seconds when a storm hits, when the wind starts gusting, and you can see a thick curtain of rain sweeping across the darkened landscape, all punctuated by thunder and lightning.
