First: Wow, so the whole PW-Movie-stuff is confirmed now? ...It's prolly gonna be pretty cool. I'm still miffy about how Capcom completely ignores Apollo and his Crew >:(
I think Capcom have been so backlashed by the series lately that they might have fallen back on the "PHOENIX IS THE ONLY ONE THAT SELLS!!!" mentality and want to stick to that gun. I could be wrong. I hope I'm wrong. But that's what it seems like to me. Which is a pity because I'd love a sequel for AJ and adore AAI. The good thing about the movie is that if it makes it over here it just might push them to dub AAI2, but that's a long shot...
Um, right, Yu-Gi-Oh.
Glad I'm not the only one who didn't like Amelda. With all the other DOMA characters I either grew to like them over time or in Raphael's case instantly liked him, but with Amelda, he never did anything for me.
I don't know. I mean... of course if they make a move it is all about Phoenix being a lawyer and stuff but... I feel so kicked in the ass ;__;° Why did they come up with the whole Apollo Justice if all they do is let him rot now even though he fairly had any character development yet? *cries*
I found Armelda's drama stupid and forced and he was overly gay and all the "OMG look how he has a little brother just like Seto!" and all the fanservice and Seto carrying him around and... I dunno, something about him just put me off. Which is funny, because I totally love Rafael and really like Varon. (I could be wrong, but I remember the Jou vs Varon duel to be one of the hottest things ever 8D)
From what I remember, the writer regarded the series as finished after T&T but was requested to do more - hence he came up with AJ as originally a seperate story. He was forced to work Phoenix into it, which I think turned out well enough, but I think he came up with AJ because he thought of the original trilogy as completed, really. AJ was very open-ended, but the creator still seems to dodge answering about a sequeal in interviews.
Yami carrying Raphael was actually awesome because, well, Raphael is huge and Yami is Yami. Seto carrying Amelda was just forced fan-service and didn't interest me. Plus, by that point I was bored of villains wanting revenge on Seto for what his company had done to them in the past. Jou & Varon were so intense and hot, I loved them. *_*
Man I have no idea. I only know the day when there will be AJ2 announced (if that EVER happens) will be one of the most happiest of my life. Oh, eh, and the day when they inform us it will be published in the western hemisphere, too 8D8D8D
I was so tired at all the antagonists wanting revenge on Seto, maybe that's why I dislike Zigfried so much :/ I actually don't remember many DM arcs that weren't somehow connected to some antagonist hating on Seto for one stupid reason or another -__-
I actually see so few fan work of Varon and Jou o.o how come? Same with Rafael and Yami, though I think I see what the fandom is doing there. (but the two most underappreciated pairings of the whole DM fandom will forever be Rishid/Marik and Mahado/Yami ;__;°°)
