Update on My Life

I've been trying to write this post for a week now. The 28th of September was the one year anniversary of our arrival on St. Croix and I thought you'd all like an update. But I was so busy getting things ready for the RH Downloadable Patterns launch that I never found the time.

Truth is, this kind of situation has been very rare on St. Croix.

You have been busy! Good to see you back here, even though I have been following your and the hound's adventures over on that--other place ;-). Having met a number of tripod dogs, what I've learned is this: Not only does it not slow them down, it allows them to make 25% less noise when they are sneaking up behind you!

I don't know if you were reading my LJ a few summers ago when Preston, the original tripod hound, blackened my eye when he snuck up on me when I was picking raspberries. He's not exactly subtle, but he moves like a train.
