Congratulations! What a beautiful boy! Love his name too. Get as much rest as you can when you can...sleep when he sleeps... and enjoy every minute with him. Time passes very quickly and they grow up way too fast.

9 pounds 10 ounces! My babies were big too. Wes was 8/5 and Olivia was 9/5. The nurse pissed me off when she called Olivia a "big mama". She was so tiny to me..just born! But..looking at the other babies in the nursery, I guess she was a little bigger..heh.

Again..congrats..and enjoy! :)

I am trying to get sleep, but his lack of schedule has thrown me right off and I struggle to sleep when he naps and struggle to stay awake when he is up and wanting to check out the world.

Congratulations! finally! :) he looks great and i am glad to hear you are doing well too...just sleep whenever you can for the next 2 or 3 years and you're good to go! ;)

Right now I feel like I could actually sleep for the next 2 or 3 years!! I not so much doing "well", but well enough at this point. Once I come to terms with the fact that there is a baby in the house, I'll be "well". I'm still in shock that I gave birth a week ago. It seems a blur, yet I can still feel the pain!

Damn it. I knew that there was something we were missing!
Actually, we passed by it on the Sunday (I think it was Sunday) and Lee got all excited before realising that it was not open yet. And then I went and got all ME ME ME and had to go into labour and cause a big distraction! ;)

Did you have a normal birth or a c-section? If you had a vaginal birth, you should start to feel better very soon. Nobody ever tells you about the horrid pain you get after the birth. To me, that was worse than actually pushing the baby out. MUCH MUCH worse.
