My Car
I've been meaning to take pictures of my car since I got it in November and I finally did it today. I set out in some random direction to take these pictures and when I finally got to a good location, the sun had already set. This is what I got. As always, comments are welcome.

Tastes GRRRRREAT
Nothing taste better than home fried zucchini, mushrooms, and chicken. We've made this before so it wasn't a new recipe. Frying the food up in my new (small) deep fryer was new. Game
I've started to play a little game with myself. The object of this game is to find some old food in the fridge, cabinet, pantry, etc, make it, and see if it looks any good with the use of the light tent. New Equipment
And by equipment, I mean a black piece of poster board that cost 99 cents. I somehow also managed to buy a $30 portfolio case for those huge paintings to hold these cheap pieces of poster board. Lost in time
So I promised Laura that I would make her eggrolls when she came down for her spring break. Unfortunately, I thought this week was the week of the 12th (spring break) so I went ahead a prepped the eggroll filling and bought the skins. Dinner
I've always wanted to do food photography. I've taken pictures of food before but the pictures never came out like they do in cookbooks. However, with the light tent I can join the ranks of mighty food photographers turning things that taste like crap into savory dishes!

Cheap Light Tent
Over the weekend, I finally created a variation of the cheap light tent for taking awesome pictures (see the d200). The most time consuming thing was figuring out the correct amount of lighting and sizing the frame. Aaron and I found this fabric that is used as curtain linings. There is some rubber on the back of it to prevent light from escaping. ( Read more... ) -
My new love
My D200 came in Thurs. I'm super excited. I left a note for the ups guy to leave it at the door in case I wasn't there to pick it up. Of course he had to come by the 30 min. I was out to do an errand. I had James drive me down to the UPS place at 8:30PM and wait at the warehouse for about 30 min. to get my package. Regardless, I have it.

Frets On Fire
So last night Aaron and I went to go play Guitar Hero at Best Buy (until we got kicked out). We were hooked. We looked everywhere online for cheap knockoff guitar controllers for the playstation.
