Tonight is one of many night's that I just can't sleep for some reason. It's summer, and yet, I can't sleep. I guess it's a convenient time for insomnia since I have so few obligations or demands on my time. But I would like to be getting things done. With the last post I made incredibly whiny and cynical, I think it's just about time to make a non-whiny actual update on my life. That time isn't quite yet, though. Sometime that isn't 3:30 in the morning probably. I just can't sleep but want to sleep, so this is my half-hearted attempt to actually update LJ for a change.

With 8 days of school remaining I feel a huge wave of accomplishment pending. By all accounts I did a good job my first year of teaching and (in addition to being excited about summer) I'm also excited about continuing my teaching career this coming September. After a weekend of feeling sick and throwing up, on Sunday around 4 Courtney and I took a trip to the CVS Minute Clinic to see what the deal was. The very nice nurse there unfortunately couldn't do anything for my fever, nausea, and back pain so she sent me off to the ER.
