So, for this third instalment media reaction to events takes second place to a rather more personal response! You have fleshed out the background a little more, given us an amusing and intimate moment between Bill and Laura and suggested some tricky family interaction to be negotiated in the future, all of it tied together by the phone call. Amazing what can be fitted into 300 words. Thank you.

Drabbles and ficlets are a great way to cleanse the palate of the mind, I've found. When I need a break from a bigger fic, these little ones are a nice change.
