Dear you, when I said wackiness, this is a little more than I had bargained for.

Yes, I have in fact been idly contemplating this for over a week. There will be retribution someday.

When Slade Wilson asks Comet the Superhorse on a date, they go berry-picking in Tennessee. It does not end in supervillains or superheroes, it ends in a very nice picnic with the berries they had gotten. Comet had a surprisingly nice time and very much enjoyed his berries. However, he didn't think a second try would work out, because, well, Slade. His significant others tend to die. Being Super is only so much protection.

Slade's heart gets bruised a little, but it's been broken too many times for one date to break it again.

What are some aspects you look for in a fandom? For instance, at least in order to write in something I really seem to need for it to be speculative fiction in some way. What features are like that for you?

Untold stories. If I can see stories gleaming at the edges of what the canon gives me, I am all over it; if I cannot, I will love the source but I will not be fannish about it.

From where you are hiding, what do you think would happen if Slade and Dick got hit with some serious sex pollen while reluctantly working together against a common enemy?

I'm just asking because I'm dying for someone to write this, lol. All of the people I've found who like this pairing are pretty much into other ships now, or have moved on from the fandom. I feel like a junkie who's supplier has left town!

I figure if I ask enough people often enough, I might get it. \0/
