[ooc: Seph dutifully checks it off. XDDD And there's another icon I made that I can't resist using, because yet again, you wouldn't expect to see Father Abel running around with such a Sephiroth-like expression on his face or if you did, you'd need to start checking for Bad Stuff About To Happen, but this one took NO editing except for the eye color!]
Have I done something incorrectly? I'm certain I don't understand the point of 'posing' in sugar acquisition -- the "trick or treat" shrieking seems much more direct and to the point -- but the women with the cameras in the park seemed rather insistent...
[ooc: I KNOOOOOOOW. I should be doing homework right now myself. Auugh...
--Except that I am certain I will need to practice smiling more, because it is a bit unnatural to see my own scowl upon his usually-cheerful face.
I'm not sure how Father Abel deals with so many layers. So much fabric, all buttoned up to the chin almost, and so many collars. I almost wonder if I have misplaced a leash...
...the point of a military uniform is to not need to wear fifty petticoats and a corset, lest one's own clothing throw a revolution and/or strangle a person before they manage to make any appreciable impact on the enemy.
It is much more effective to reserve one's combat strategies for the opponents, and not for managing one's own provisions.
Shirts are quite overrated as well. Cloth does nothing to turn a blade; if one does not intend to wear leather sturdy enough to be of use, then there is little point in adding fabric to it. And I would charbroil if I wore black leather over every possible inch of skin...
[ooc: Besides, he really likes that little noise Cloud makes in the back of his throat when he walks around in that shirtless uniform with all the leather straps... XD]
The credit is entirely Father Abel's, of course; it is his clothing I'm wearing, and the genetic coincidence of our similarity in coloring is what completes the illusion. But I shall convey your compliments to him accordingly.
Might I ask what costume you plan to wear? Yuuko's informed me that there may be some irregularity about dressing oneself as another particular person, and I do hope I haven't erred too greatly in dressing to placate the roving pranksters...
[hee hee! Seph is Being Sneaky. He hasn't forgotten Balthier's musings on possibly yoinking one very large hunk of rock out of the museum! Yeah, subtle as a brick bat, I know, but for Seph this IS comparatively subtle... ♥ Hope you feel better soon!]
An earnest attempt to fully comply with the rituals surrounding this event so that I do not provide the city's allotment of pranksters with the excuse to make me a target, ma'am.
That was my hope, yes -- avoiding being tricked, I mean, not necessarily looking cute. I mean, Father Abel is quite cute of course, with the range of odd expressions he makes, but that is much more a function of his personality than his uniform, and I cannot mimic his personality nearly as well -- er, in any case.
Most of what I have is chocolate, since that was by far the most popular response to the survey -- I'm afraid none of these are alcoholic, however, given the need to distribute them to children as well. Would chocolate be acceptable? And do you prefer with nuts or without?
Ah -- you're another of Father Abel's friends, then? A pleasure to meet you, sir. My name is Sephiroth, and I am responsible for the military and the city patrol. Though for the purposes of the evening I am uncertain whether I should answer to my own name or not...
I hope that life in Lumiere has been pleasant for you so far -- I know Father Abel was quite relieved when more of his friends arrived from his own world. Is there anything you need, or anything you wish for?
I cannot provide friends who have not yet arrived, of course, but my lover's bar stocks alcohol from quite a range of worlds, and several of the world's restaurants have made a practice of cooking to match newcomers' memories...

Hnf. You and Abel, complaining about the layers. Hn. It is nothing! You should have to wear fifty petticoats and a corset!
