i'd think this would make people who like the organic and natural gimmicks happy, not sad... i can't really see a negative to this.

Well, while I understand from the global trade point of view that massive corporations can be theoretically more efficient or whatever, I also mostly hate them. I love companies that start out small with people and earth friendly policies who achieve success, and I think it's very unfortunate when they use that success to sell themselves to said corporations.

well, the thing is, the article said that tom's would be able to still maintain themselves as tom's and colgate would only have an investment share in it and provide capital. obviously they're going to say sell sell sell, but that means more people are going to get the product you enjoy and probably at a cheaper price. then again, i dont really like corporations on the macro scale, so it definitally translates into something im against.
