5/29/07-Women's Hospital
this happened while admitting a 17 year old pregnant girl
Me: "are either of your parents here with you today?"
Her: "no, but i gots my baby daddy outside"

things are finally going my way!
my boss gave me another day of the week :-D, one of the women who work in my department resigned her position, she only worked on fridays though, but i got her job so that's an extra 8 hours a week, plus now i can get tuition reembursment from cone for going to school.

my brother got a new puppy the other day...she's so cute
she's a little tiny corgi
and she doesn't have a tail
and she's fat
her tummy drags the ground
her legs are too short to scratch behind her ears
she's floppy
her name's penny

so...it's shocking but the most difficult part of my job really is just collating papers.  I can't believe that i'm getting paid what i am to sit and collate...occasionally having to change things in the hospitals patient database.   it's amazing that jobs like mine are even around anymore.  within the next ten years i will be replaced with a ( Read more... )

The other day when I was in orientation they went over the company's retirement plans.  WHAT? I am no where near old enough or ready for a retirement plan.  I plan on grad school and Peace Corps, I don't want to start contributing to a 403 (b) plan!  This is the stuff I study in Accounting, I don't want to have an actual connection to it, its too ( Read more... )
