Whining, as per my new normal.

As I posted several weeks ago, I have been having constant and significant pain in my hip and was told I have mild hip dysplasia.

After pushing (which for me is extremely unusual), I was able to move up the appointment originally scheduled for mid-January with the orthopedic specialist and got a MR arthrogram just before Christmas ( Read more... )

So sorry this has been rotten! (Though you're right, it is a relief to know that the pain you're feeling is honest-to-goodness with a capital P pain and not just a low-threshold-for-pain reaction to mild discomfort.)

I'll send good thoughts your way to help you get an appointment toot sweet. Don't let the gatekeepers keep you out of that office for weeks. Channel your inner Snape. :-)

Unleashing the tears might be more effective than unleashing the cranky, actually. They're an accurate measure of how much pain you're in, and it won't hurt for the medical people to know that. I'm so sorry you're going through this. I know how painful it is. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you hear on Monday. And please don't apologize for whining, we're here to listen when you need us to. ~hugs~
