Awww, this was adorable :D

I love stories that revolve around BLAN, because I've read it more times than I care to count & it's still an enigma. This one was particularly sweet and satisfying, especially that last line. Melted my heart!

I'm really pleased you liked it cos I when I re read it my initial thought was 'this is far more stupid than I intended' :D

"I love stories that revolve around BLAN, because I've read it more times than I care to count & it's still an enigma." - I know right?! I'm going through a phase of reading the later canon stories because I don't read them as often, and I was thinking, 'this is so unlike Holmes it's insane' and then it popped into my head that it's more like he wrote it as a joke :D

Thanks for the lovely comment, you've put me in a good mood for bedtime :)

Thanks for the corrections, will sort those now :D Was going to send it to you for beta but I forgot and then just wanted to post :)

I'm really glad you liked it (in spite of the absence of rampant necrophilia):D

hullo there!

I really like how you've got the banter going between them at the begining, and how you answer some of the canon inconsistancy questions and get them caring for each other all at once.
But particularly I like the banter. It's so in character!

I was so pleased to see that you'd written something! I was planning on sending you a comment full of all of my favorite quotes from the story, but when I started re-reading to find some of them, I realized I would be virtually copying the entire thing, which didn't seem to make any sense. So (*points up at the story*), I really, really liked THAT! But I think my absolute favorite bit in the entire thing was this:

"I found that I could not write him. Your alter ego. I don't have the patience for him, and unlike your literary Holmes, I have no desire to insult you. Are you quite satisfied?"

I loved it because it so fits my idea of the characters in the stories versus the "real" Holmes and Watson. Thanks for a lovely read!

ooh yay \0/ Thanks ever so :D That's very nice of you to say, I'm so pleased it fits your idea of the characters

(btw I haven't forgotten to get back to you with proper recs just in the middle of a major internet nightmare in my new place)

No worries! I've been crazy busy with work and had a friend visiting for several weeks, so I haven't even had time for much reading. I've found plenty of stuff to keep me busy in the little time I've had to play (it's just always nice to have recs from a reliable source). I hope you get your internet issues figured out soon - it's been such a long time! My heart goes out to you. It must be SO frustrating.

Cheers, I have to use the cafe round the corner and now I've started work full time it's tricky to get there :S Apparently Ireland doesn't have full internet coverage yet, even though we're city centre :( Also it doesn't help that my brain has been eaten by BBC!Sherlock lately O.o

Oh, I enjoyed this immensely! And ditto to the lines quoted in the comments above! Also: I tried to concentrate on breathing deeply and telling myself that I would miss him later if I succumbed and killed him now. This made me laugh out loud here. I shared the line with my friend, and she laughed, too.

Excellent work, you. Excellently well done fic.
