Unfortunately, because I'm now full-time at the dear Barnes and Noble, it's taking me two years to complete the program because I can't limit my availability all that much. It's here! My new computer arrived about an hour before I had to be at work today. Bah. I was almost late. But anyway. It seems to be just fine, aside from Vista's inherent lameness. Remember how I mentioned way back in mid-September that my computer had died? (R.I.P., Hal9000. You are sorely missed.) Well...I just now finally ordered myself a new one. My mom and I early voted at the library this afternoon. We went around 1:00 and spent maybe 20 minutes in line. It wasn't very long -- shorter than 2004, if I remember correctly -- but it moved very quickly. R.I.P., beloved computer.
As the subject suggests, my computer died last week in a very tragic virus-catching incident. It...well...doesn't do anything anymore. I loved that machine, seriously, and I'm pissed at myself for never backing anything up over the course of six years.
