I'm not trying to be obsequious or anything like that, but I think that you are being very brave about your mum's illness.

If something like that happened to my mum, I'd be totally and distractedly consumed with worry and concern for her, and I doubt that I'd be as brave as you.

Aw, thanks, but you'd be surprised how strong you can be when you have to be ;)

Plus, when she is strong it really does help. She kind of gave me permission not to fall into a heap and to concentrate on my music, which really helped.
