Man! I've never seen a fire so close to my house. I knew it was at Griffith Park, but I didn't know it was right outside my window. I was on the freeway going home and saw the fire engulfing my  favorite mountains. The ones that I LOVE to look at when I exit the freeway. The poor people who are losing their houses! Everyone was outside on Glendale

omg the fires were insane!! soooooooo close to my house, the ashes were falling everywhere and the smell was horrible.. my grandparents were evacuated and and so was my friend that lived like right on the hill of where the fire was.. they had no electricity.. it was soo bad, I had a clear view from my house and the flames were soooooo close! I was seriously going to cry, I thought that was the end of griffith park! :(

I KNOW!! IT was SO weird to have a fire SOOO close by! i'VE never witnessed somethign like that! Your grandparents live on the mountain?? Oh man that's scary!Especially for your friends, I would have been crying if it was that near my house! When I saw the fires I was like OMG the houses! AND the fire stopped like RIGHT before the houses, that's AMAZING, thank GOD. I was seriously happy that no houses were destroyed because I when I saw the fire while coming home on the freeway it looked like it was burning down everything! Then I went home and started watching the fire from outside my window, it was crazy.
