Wow! This was completely random to me, yet absolutely amazing. I think that I'd be too afraid to visit India, unless it were on some sort of business trip or something. I went to Korea a few years ago, and realized how spoiled I am. Blah blah blah~I'm glad that you had a great time :D
Omg, I realised I was totally spoilt D: especially when it comes to bathrooms, and I was in a house with up to 14 other volunteers and I never before realised how much I value my alone time! I had to go in the toilet to cry once because it got a bit overwhelming for me!!
I was so scared at first- I managed to avoid going in the Indian style toilets almost completely.
Haha, yeah, where I was staying had a western toilet so it was fine at first- it was just out and about in the town, and we had to carry toilet paper with us all the time!
wow, india looks amazing. & i had henna done in kuwait last year & it only lasted a week too! :( maybe they just don't wash that hand hence it lasts so long? totally jealous of you, i want to hang out with elephants!!
I was really worried about the etiquette with hands- I think its in India too that they eat with only one of their hands because the other is used for washing. I was scared I might offend someone :O
It was so cool- I wish I'd seen the North too. Aw, they were so sweet and the ride is actually pretty comfy :D
thanks for the add =], wow those pics are beautiful! lol those toilets remind me of the toilets i read about in japan. and it must be a great experience in those hospitals.
Yeah, I think the toilets are like that all across Asia, but I guess you'd get used to them after a while. It was- so different to hospitals in England and obviously they have a different set of common health problems due to differences in diet etc...
