The event is over but there is still work to do.
The departments I ran did pretty good:
Consuite: Had health food, did not run out of coffee or drinks, and came in under budget . Still to do is get receipts in order and separated out by category and get to next years Consuite person and treasurer.

Busy Weekend planed
Last night I sold my daughters car. This is a good thing as she is unable to drive with a suspended license. Anyway yesterday was a good day. Today and tomorrow I will be working on convention things as things are going into high gear with the convention being next weekend. I still have some consuite things to confirm, mostly scheduling. It was a pretty good day today. I was able to drive separately, from hubby and got to work early. My boss was working from home and not in the office so I got a lot accomplished. Movies for a Day
I really took day and rested. It was great. Yesterday I was pretty drugged up, yes my back is bothering me again. but I really enjoyed chilling and watching movies all day. Oh what a beautiful morning, oh what a beautiful day. The sun is out, the temperature is nice and I found out I am getting a raise…..and it will be retro back to April 7of this year. Is it wrong to be happy
My son just told me that he was offered a job in Bloomington. He is thinking about taking it. This would mean he would have his own health insurance and such. Don't get me wrong I will miss him, but not the arguing over taking out the trash and him taking hour long showers and leaving all the lights on all the time ( Read more... ) -
Animal Emergencies
My daughter gets off work at 9:30'ish and when she and her room-mate went home last night the room-mates cat was sitting on a chair with a 3 inch gash in it's front fore-arm. My daughter immediately called the emergency vet, wrapped the cat in a towel, and had her boyfriend drive her to VCA. I called her, just to see how her day went and her ( Read more... )
