Jury Duty yet again.......
The local Superior Court website states the the process for selecting who receives a jury summons is random, but in my case, it's become an informal pattern to be summoned every two years, it seems to be during the same few months, and always when it's just been 18 months since my last jury duty date ( Read more... ) -
Writer's Block: Stolen Goods
I honestly can't think of a time when I've ever had something stolen from me, but back around my 16th birthday, our house was robbed. it's rather concerned I am about a lot of things at the moment.......rent is increasing this month, I have to refill my asthma prescription, and if I'm out of refills, I have to find a doctor nearby because the one I've gone to for years has apparently retired or something....either way, the office is closed. The main air conditioning vent in my apartment is dripping liquid again, figures that this sort of thing ALWAYS happens late at night, when I can't call the manager's office. Maintenance does have an emergency pager, but I'm not thinking this really qualifies as such, because it's not even remotely close to flooding. Still, I'm hoping that I won't ( Read more... ) -

Much has happened since I last wrote in here, I can't recall everything but one of the biggest situations was Helen's father having contacted me on MySpace and basically announced that he wanted to get back together. Things were quite hectic at work today because the store is getting ready for doing inventory next week, so we were having to make sure everything was tagged like it should be. Meanwhile, there were customers to deal with, not that I mind that so much, but for about 20 minutes or so I almost felt chained to the register because I was the only sales ( Read more... ) -

Going to northern Arizona tomorrow morning, which will be nice as I'm totally needing a vacation.......definitely not as easy as I thought it would be working two part-time jobs. Had an icky dream about Jason Mewes last night, although I don't recall many details other than at one point he and I were talking dirty to each other on AIM, and trying to set up a time/place to meet to do things which I'd rather not get into on here.
