The good news is that everything is going to be all right because you are taking the right steps to get her into therapy -- and it appears that you have discovered this in the early stages.

It seems a bit of an overreaction for the school to place Sierra on suicide watch, though, they have to work with whatever limited set of labels they're allowed to use.

In all honesty, I'm not surprised because Sierra is one of the most deeply sensitive and most artistic children I've ever met. As best I can tell, cutting is not unusual.

You are a good mom. Ed and Mike are good dads. We will get her through this and you KNOW I'll do anything you want me to do.

Of course I know you'll do anything you can, but thanks for reiterating.

Had nice day with Nancy and Heather and Sierra. Nancy had done some research that will be helpful.

Bottom line is I need to pay more attention to her (fix my issues) and she is a drama queen wanting attention from someone. The cuts weren't that deep, but 6 friends turned her in. I'm reading, reading, reading.

I was sad to hear that Sierra is a cutter.
It must be difficult to feel so much.
I am hoping for the best for all of you.
