I chopped off all my hair. It's spiffy. I look like a cool Prenzlauerberger. you probably don't know what that is but i'm not going to elaborate. point is, i hardly have to do anything to my hair. it's supposed to be messy. ha. why did i not do this sooner?

it's quite apparent that i don't write in this thing anymore.

perhaps one of these days i'll get on that.

i'm missing pretty girls make graves playing in glasgow by one day. ONE DAY. i'll be on the damn plane.

on a happier note, the groovie ghoulies are playing in berlin in september.

still, pgmg at king tut's... would have been soooo nice.

maybe i'll catch them in manchester or london.

i got carded for goodbye lenin yesterday. walking into the theatre, all i could think was, "i sure hope this is R and not PG13."

expected it to be another all-nighter last night. term paper on irish music was only 2/10 done at 8:30pm, due 12.5 hours later. entirely do-able of course, but in the writing that i had done so far, i had found that i really had entirely too much to say on the subject and didn't know how to focus it. went to the library (the real one) with chacha ( Read more... )

Working on a term paper. Fun, huh?
I'm trying not to think about it being a Friday night. It's not so bad really... I'm writing about the articulation of Irish identity in music through a case study of the Pogues. Least it's interesting.
