The incident with One has affected a number of the crew--myself included. It's ironic that we were right after all--that a drone *could* be imbued with a sense of individuality and respect for life--only to see the ultimate proof of this in One's willingness to sacrifice his own life for our safety.

Disturbing development: we've picked up a Borg sphere on long-range sensors. Apparently, One inadvertantly contacted them (even though we'd disabled his primary transceiver, his Borg technology bypassed it). _tuvok_'s warnings about what would happen should the Collective become aware of what is essentially a 29th century drone are uppermost in my mind. Just as qcontinuum said, by adjusting our scans for gravimetric signatures, we were able to find a closer class M planet. The inhabitants were more than a little surprised that we were able to penetrate their cloak, but were pleasant enough and agreed to supply us with food materials for a nominal price. I just got back from the Mess Hall and conferring with Neelix. One of the power generators failed, causing the main stasis unit to go offline for several hours.
