it's affirming to be thanked for doing something you didn't want to do in the first place because you didn't think anyone would care whether you did it or not.  (Now, how's that for convoluted!)  It's just nice to know that someone somewhere thinks the menial tasks you avoid doing are worthwhile.  I was thanked twice today.  Last night at midnight ( Read more... )
