A Year of Living Strangely (One Year of Lockdown 1, Day 78 of Lockdown 3)

It's been an entire year since we went into lockdown here (at least a week too late). This morning I looked at the post I made the day after the announcement and I sounded quite calm. It's really hard to look back now and remember what it felt like because, as we were saying in my Pilates class, it both seems a short time ago and a very long one.

It's nice you've been able to find some positive things and you've gotten better at gardening and getting organized.

I'm the same with water temperature. My husband Mike acts like I like it scalding, but it's not that bad.

I'm surprised we haven't worn out the dial on our shower turning it up and down between us :)

We were trying to think of positive things that had happened in the last year and we did decide our main achievement had been some delicious tomatoes!

It’s certainly been a strange year that’s for sure. Some nice positives in there though!

Definitely a strange year. What I should have said in the question about which parent I resembled is that my mum's motto was "always look on the bright side of life" so I was trying to do so hence the positives. On a different day I would have gone with my dad's favourite saying "never mind if things look glum, you always know there's worse to come" :)
