You had me at Accidentally defrauded Waitrose and I'm still grinning.

It was an accident but I don't feel guilty about it as if they had packed my order properly it wouldn't have happened. Also, it was a very small amount of money. I don't think I would be a very good fraudster :)

It's lovely here, too, at the moment. My husband is busy in the garden, putting up new fencing, the arbor, putting out his seedlings. He's a happy camper when he's out there puttering away.

I agree with you about Highlander. I think it would be terrible to live longer than all the ones you love.

The weather yesterday was just amazing but next week we're going back to normal with the temperature dropping to more wintery levels. It does make you feel more like doing things when the weather is nice.

I think Highlander was a good lesson in not wishing for immortality, even without the potential loss of one's head!

This is the kit I bought which includes plants and is very good value IMO https://smile.amazon.co.uk/Complete-Patio-Pond-Set-Marginal/dp/B07TD6QKWW

I like the idea of becoming an antiques expert. I think in these social media days laying low would be really hard ....

I like that kit! Many thanks for the link. I need something that can be easily moved as the plan is (hopefully) to have a lot of structural work done on the garden this year so I don't want to fix anything permanently in place.

I stole the antiques expert idea from Highlander but I have always liked it. Lying low involves changing identities a lot. Highlander is pretty much a primer on what to do if immortality is inflicted on one :)

I'm rereading LPW as well. Read Lord Peter Views the Body yesterday and it's so long since I read it I didn't recall any of the stories at all - it was like reading it for the first time. A real treat. It was reading 'Square Haunting' that pitched me back into DLS!

It was "Square Haunting" that gave me the idea too :) I was looking for Lord Peter Views the Body the other day and I couldn't find it. I am now not completely sure I even own a copy. I may have to remedy that as I certainly don't remember the stories.
