Wow - that sounds a lot of expensive garden work - good luck!

Thanks! The most urgent thing is the back fence, but that can’t be done without taking down the greenhouse, which should have been done years ago. I think if we’re having that done we might as well have the whole lot done at the same time, but I’m not sure John agrees with me!

D-d's 3rd of April birth was on Easter Sunday, and it was again when she was 6 - but then next time will be her 79th birthday! So it being at the Easter weekend this year was quite special.

I really should listen to more podcasts - I have developed a habit of starting to listen to an album on Amazon music and then drifting to the next and the next and got out of the habit of podcasts. I am going to listen to some of the ones you mentioned - thank you!

My pleasure. They are all enjoyable and informative at the same time.

My dad always used to say that being born on Easter Sunday meant that all the things that applied to "the child born on the Sabbath Day" applied doubly to him. I presume D-d would say the same :) John's birthday can fall at Easter but because he wasn't born on Easter Sunday it's not quite the event that Dad's was.

Wow, that's a lot of garden work. My husband has been busy with his seedlings and making the garden safe from deer who eat almost everything. He's always happiest in the spring.

I can't wait to start traveling again. We're off to the southwest US on Tuesday for a week's holiday.

How lovely! I hope you have a wonderful time. We're still being very cautious about holidays but a lot of people are booking them in the UK this year. Popular places like Cornwall are getting very booked up already for later in the year.

It is a lot of garden work and it's not a very big garden. If we get it all done I shall be very surprised.

I'm planning on coming to the UK in late Oct. I've already got my hotel reservations as I figured once the dam broke, it would be hard to get anything.
