Weird realisation

J went for his second jab today, which is a huge relief. For his first jab I went with him to show him where to go but this time I was left in the house on my own. It's quite a long walk and he had a longish wait so he was gone for over two hours, which I suddenly realised was the longest I have been in the house on my own since March 2020. We

It's been a very odd spring here. Yesterday it was 90F and today it's 70. At least it's been mostly sunny so I can't complain.

We are getting about 15 minutes of sun followed by about 30 minutes of rain in rotation. We had to turn our heating up yesterday as we felt so cold. Luckily it looks as if it might be a bit better at the end of the week. 70F would be a heatwave for us at the moment!

I know what you mean - although as Mr Cee is working I can occasionally feel quite lonely in my own house! It is nice that as things are opening up we can go out to things on our own.

I was used to being in the house by myself so I was surprised when it felt so weird yesterday, but then I realised it hadn't happened for over two hours for more than a year. We have both been out separately and I've been out for longer than two hours but J hasn't. Strange times!
