I’m hearing more and more of double jabbed people getting Covid! My mask is firmly still in place.

I’d love to have an American style closet - I suppose we’d call it a walk-in wardrobe or a dressing room.

A friend of ours has a walk-in wardrobe and it is very luxurious.

My mask is still firmly in place too. I was very relieved that my hairdresser was still operating strict hygiene and mask wearing. It does seem completely random as to whether people are wearing them or not. When we went on the bus to West Wickham the other day everyone was wearing one on the way and very few people were wearing them on the way back!

My husband picked beauty berries today and used them with blackberries to make blackberry/beautyberry jam.

I had to look up what beauty berries were as I don't think they grow wild here. We will probably make some blackberry jam when we pick some more but it's blackberry and apple crumble tonight :)

I'd never heard of them either until we moved into our house and he showed me them in our backyard.

I'm with you - I'd rather not get even a mild dose of covid...

I don't blame your sister-in-law banning the cartoon network because it isn't actually in English :)

Although we now have a wall of built in wardrobes under the slope of our bedroom ceiling, as it is a dormer bungalow, and I'm not sure if they count as closets or not - but then a closet to me is a toilet anyway.

That's what I first think of for closet too. I was under the impression that a closet is a walk in wardrobe, a bit like a larder in a kitchen. A friend of ours has got one with clothes rails on either side and a mirror. It seems an enormously luxurious amount of space to me.

I'm not going anywhere near a crowd for the foreseeable future. The theory is that Karen caught it because she was left in the crowded concourse of Chelsea FC while Paul went to the gents. She's blaming him anyway :) His two close calls with Covid didn't stop him from going to watch Palace this weekend, of course. It is strange how some people catch it and others don't, but I have no intention of risking it.
