When we went on the local street art monster trail a few weeks ago I wondered why the local businesses that financed it hadn't done it for Halloween. Now I think someone might have checked the long-range weather forecast and realised that this particular sort of street art wouldn't work on a day beginning with torrential rain and high winds! The monsters are great fun!

We usually do lunch, too. Smaller meals mean fewer leftovers to cram into the refrigerator.

The monsters were a nice idea. We heard some small children squealing with glee at "Monsters!"

Our fridge and our freezer are absolutely rammed at the moment and anything that doesn't leave leftovers is very welcome.

Those are so cool - were they inflatables? I think my favourite one is the tentacles on the Town Hall LOL!

They were inflatables so would not have done well in the weather today.

I loved the Town Hall one too. The sun was in completely the wrong place to photograph it well so it took several goes to get it.
