I quit a job. My first non-minimum wage/non-student job. The first job that I've quit that didn't have an end date chosen from the very first day of work (for example, end of summer or graduation). It stills seems a little strange to me--I quit a job.

I just reread Juliet Marillier's Son of the Shadows (the second in the Sevenwaters trilogy). I read it for the first time about a year ago, and absolutely loved it--the characters, the story, the pacing, the setting, the magic... it just really works.
