i can't seem to stop thinking about the last time i looked at my completely bare right wrist for some reason. i remember sitting in the bus thinking it would never look the same and swearing to myself they'd be my favorite band forever. nearly three years later, and i still like them a whole lot at least.

quitting smoking fucking sucks. apparently not being able to find my driver's license and student id is stressful enough to first make me scream at inanimate objects, then cry for about a minute, and then stand outside with a mostly finished pack of cigarettes found while desperately searching for my ids in hand all the while fucking fiercely ( Read more... )

i went to chicago and on the first night i met a perfect boy who had a very nice colorful striped polo shirt and blond hair and had just finished writing a film score and then on the second night we met a 70+ year old bar owner who was really awesome and we took shots of jagermeister with her.

who wants to hear about my work! i started yesterday, and so far i have 1) used data taken at the intersection of highway 40 and mason rd. and processed in a traffic modeling program called synchro to excel up some cost estimates for how much modot has cumulatively saved travelers passing that intersection in gas money in a year and some estimates ( Read more... )

i managed to get presale radiohead tickets for the chicago show at the auditorium theatre on monday, june 19. i'm pretty excited to see them somewhere indoors and relatively small for the first time.
