Matt bought some GI Joes this weekend.  I guess he wanted to buy them because the one came with a tank.  This lead to him buying some other GI Joe yesterday and now there's little army men in my living room.  I must say, I'm getting a little boyed out.  Not only does Matt have GI Joes, but also these little figurines for some game called War Hammer ( Read more... )

Sometime after my brother and I had outgrown playing with action figures, we invented a game that used the ones we still had. You line them up on the floor, and throw a tennis ball that needs to bounce once before knocking them over.

You could suggest playing this game with Matt, because if his figures are frustrating you, it might feel nice to knock them over with a tennis ball.

While I would have no problem of throwing things at the Joes, Matt probably would.

Here's to hoping this is just a phase.

Maybe you could compromise and get Xmen figurines or the like... that way it's something you both can enjoy. I definatly feel for you though, I need some sort of woman cave in my house since I'm outnumbered... I tried for the garage, but Sam was too quick to take it over, and I killed the plants outside.

boys are stupid throw rocks at them

I'm going cold turkey with the action figures. I'm totally off them. Don't want anything to do with them. I now want grown up things in the house, like lamps, vases, and picture frames.
