I just watched my first Firefly episode with commentary. It was "War Stories" and Alan Tudyk and Nathan Fillion did the commentary. It was absolutely hysterical! I know what you mean about being hesitant to watch with the commentary for fear of missing stuff...What I did was watch the episode, then immediately watched it over again with the commentary. I think I laughed harder the second time around... you will absolutely love it. I haven't listened to the ones with Joss Whedon or the other producers, which I'm sure are more insightful than goofy. But I'm betting equally as wonderful.
