For various reasons - a cross between traveling for Christmas, being sick for a little while, moving, and probably other things -  I stopped running.  I've been trying to get back into it for about a month.  Each and every time I take a break from running or working out in general, I always forget how hard it is to get back into it again ( Read more... )

Unfortunately, I was in a staff meeting when our newest president was sworn in, but I read the full text of his speech afterward.  It gave me chills.  Tonight I might look up the audio/visual on the interweb.  His speech style is very reminiscent of the speeches that "presidents of yore" gave.

So we're all moved in.  The move was last Saturday and I think it was the smoothest one either one of us has ever had.  Even doing the final walkthrough with the apartment complex was very easy, which I think was helped by the fact that we were renting from a company and not from an individual landlord ( Read more... )
