there and back (again)

I was in DC for work this last week.  The meetings went well, which was satisfying since the project we're working on is mine.  I think the Canadians and the Brits might have agreed upon a new job title for me: Chief Chicken Herder.

I just went to the nike+ website to see if they have the same time limit in LA as in NY, but before I got that far I saw that registration is closed - too many people have signed up already. Oh well.

Also maybe a bunch of those Throwdown places are ghetto-y. We went to one a bit north of our old neighborhood where Bobby lost in the arroz con pollo contest (he almost always loses), and that was basically the heart of Spanish Harlem. But Mike, Amy, Mels and I are all pretty immune to ghettoness at this point. It was good we had Amy though because the waitress communicated much better in Spanish. Anyway, the food was delicious!
