Quidditch

All right... time to be the bigger person and offer an olive branch to certain friends who seem to be having issues being understanding. I mean all we did was get drunk and flirt with some italians.... and I left my dress at Cassius' flat, but they don't know that. And they never need to know it. They'd completely misinterpret it.I've been ( Read more... )

Hey there, Katie, you shouldn't be practicing alone. It's really not safe these days. There's been a few suspicious characters hanging about Hogsmeade.

If you'd like, I'll join you for a few rounds after patrols today. And I'll escort you home afterwards too.

Roger, that would be wonderful! Promise not to go easy on me? I need the challenge. Oh, thank Merlin... I couldn't take another night out there by myself! If I'm lucky he'll want to walk me home, he's good like that... What time?

Excellent. Tonight on the Hogwarts pitch at half-past six? I have it on good authority that there's no Quidditch practice by any of the house teams tonight.

Brilliant! I hope you're ready to to be destroyed. Just teasing! Though... I rather hope I do destroy you... I want to be a professional after all...

I'm doing better. Some of the shock has gone away and I feel mostly angry about it, I suppose. The girl who I lent my book to threw the photograph away for me because I just couldn't bring myself to look at it. So I feel better for not having it there. Thanks for letting me visit.

You know you're welcome here anytime. I just can't believe someone would do something like this. It's so... bloody awful. Is there any other way to describe it? If you find out who did it.... I'll give them a right thumping. I wish I could make it better give you another hug.

Yes, it is. I'd rather not talk about it though, if that's alright.

Is everything alright with you? I saw Malfoy's entry the other day.

Of course. Sorry.

Oh, yes, I'm fine. This is Alicia, she's not going to buy that... Honestly? I've been a bit freaked out. Did you see who popped up in the journals?

I'm sorry about the way I've been acting.

I suppose I could come by and help you practice. If you wanted me to, that is.

It's alright. We've all behaved rather poorly. You might want to talk to Alicia though she needs her friends right now would probably appreciate that.

Of course I want to practice with you. No one else will play me with so little pity. Except maybe Cassius, I don't see him going easy on me...

Not that I would know from experience, but I imagine if you played Quidditch for so long you would miss it if you had to give it up. I was like that with Muggle sports. I used to play in leagues when I still lived in London, but being up here, obviously there aren't any Muggles around, so... I guess I'm trying to say that I kind of know how you feel.

What sports did you play? I don't think anything compares to Quidditch obviously, but I like to learn about others. If I had to give up Quidditch I would be miserable. I miss it so much now even.

My parents being nouveau-riche and a bit pretentious with it, I played cricket because it was the only sport they considered genteel enough for me. Ridiculous reasoning, but bloody good fun all the same.
