I went to the Owl Post office earlier and on my way out one of the Aurors literally ran into me. I don't know which one (older bloke, fairly short, glasses?) but he was in a right state and started yelling for all the people in the street to go back home at once. What on earth's going on? Must be something bad if the Aurors are getting het up...

Well, it seems my can't-take-a-hint ex-boyfriend has, well, taken a hint. There's a first time for everything. For now, anyway. Haven't heard from him in a week or two.

I've spent much of my afternoon doing Muggle crosswords in the sunshine, and doing paperwork for the start of the second year of my course. The forms I have yet to fill in sit in a pile about a foot high on my desk. Bloody red tape. I think it is perhaps time I invested in an automatic quill of some kind ( Read more... )
