If you really wanted to hide behind an obscure anime, you might wanna not pick an anime that apparently has a fanbase big enough and fanatical enough to warrant a sequel in under a year, and 2 dating sim games, and a rumored season 3 AND 4. (QUALITY Cabbage)

Haha, you think the US has a higher quality standard? The popularity of things like 'Reality' TV, and Twilight should have dispelled that notion long ago. Also, I think the blatant panty shots and the harem romance is a SELLING point, not detriment for the fanboys.
And now that is irony. Well, just a shame I didn't get a chance to get some more pics, probably with a Moka Kick! to the skull for me. Travis is kinda a character who deserves one, anyway.
And yeah, missing out on the 4th is kinda a bummer. I'm close enough to go make it to the family bbq by leaving a little early from AX. I hope you'll come out west for a visit here again. (Maybe I'll be at SDCC, depending if I find things like money for it. >.> )

The whole skit nonsense is just RETARDED. If there was a problem with them censoring it for you guys, they should have told you. The way they handled the situation was just ridiculous. >(

That's just it- there has NEVER been a problem before. Not with our use of cursing, not with our bleeps or lack thereof, NOTHING. I think they just wanted to blame us before we could turn it around and blame THEM. Either way, AX Masquerade is just so low-quality these days, I don't even give a shit. I've seen much smaller cons with WAY more epic skits, year after year. Katsucon and Otakon, to name two.
When is Leonard not amazing? He can work wonders. *_* Now if only he'd get his pics from D*C and AWA online... T__T
Haha, I wanted to be a Rockette when I was younger!! I got the stems and the high-kick, but in all actuality, I'm a pretty shitty dancer, despite taking classes since I was 5. XD
Actually, I have always wanted to try A-kon (I mean, the oldest animu con in the US! How cool is that???), but I've yet to seriously consider it. Maybe if I don't go to SDCC next year, Cliff and I could make a trip out of it. :DDDD Would you recommend it??
I would definitely recommend it! My friends and I have gone every year for about 4 years and it is well worth the drive (about 10 hours from where we are). We love to cosplay there and the guests are usually really good! Some of my favorites have been Versailles, AnCafe, Penicillin Nano, MELL, Shinichi Watanabe, ALSDEAD, and not to mention the fact that Yaya Han goes there almost every year!
That and next years theme for the convention is A-kon 21: Revenge of the Penguins....need I say more? XD
